Our foam rolling class is designed to assist with self-myofascial release. Foam rolling is a form of self-massage where bodyweight is used to apply pressure to tender areas or knots in your muscles. After a workout, fascia (the connective tissue that supports our muscles) can become tight and inflamed, causing soreness. Foam rolling can help to relieve some of this tightness and pain. Benefits include improvement to flexibility and posture and reduction in pain associated with muscle tightness.
Open to all levels, this class welcomes beginners, intermediate and advanced members. Make sure you bring along a towel, water bottle and your motivation to move!
