At Fernwood Fitness, our focus is on moving our bodies, making time for our mental wellbeing, and embracing who we are. Some days we love a HIIT session and attending group classes, while other days we like to slow it down and move more mindfully while still enjoying a workout.

The movements in Reformer Pilates are dynamic yet considered, meaning you can move at your own pace while still enjoying the benefits of the workout. Classes range in intensity so you can take it slow or heat things up – always do what’s best for you.

Reformer Pilates classes involve exercising on a reformer bed rather than a mat. Beginners are always welcome, and we offer foundation classes for anyone trying Reformer Pilates for the first time. You’ll get the swing of it very quickly, plus the instructors are always available to provide assistance.

Set up in studio-style environments, Fernwood Reformer Pilates classes offer a suite of different class types to suit beginners, intermediate and advanced members. The female instructors can modify any pose or sequence to suit individual needs and preferences, because we know there’s never a one size fits all approach.
