Fernwood x RizeUp Partnership

Fernwood is proud to partner with RizeUp Australia to help drive awareness of domestic and family violence and create new homes for survivors fleeing a violent household.

This collaboration is intrinsically linked to Fernwood’s ethos to empower women to shine, and the opportunity to provide new beginnings for women and children fleeing domestic and family violence is a mission the network is honoured to stand behind.

Though Christmas and the summer holidays are often full of happy moments, this time of year can be very difficult for many young people and families affected by domestic and family violence.

To bring a smile to children and families whose lives have been impacted by domestic and family violence, we are asking you to donate a gift or gifts to RizeUp’s Christmas Gift Appeal this festive season between November 1 – December 15.

Simply bring your unwrapped gift into your local Fernwood the next time you visit and leave it under our tree for RizeUp’s team to collect and share with girls, boys, and women in need this year.

About RizeUp Australia

The RizeUp mission is to drive awareness of domestic and family violence within society by generating life-changing, practical support for the families affected, giving them the help to press the restart button on a life free from violence. When a family leaves a refuge, RizeUp furnishes their new home with everything they need so they can make a fresh start, ensuring women and their children do not return to dangerous situations due to economic necessity.

Fernwood recognises that as a community, it is up to us to respectfully challenge the behaviours and attitudes that allow this violence to thrive. Every donation made helps make a difference to the lives of those impacted by providing a fresh new beginning for families in need.

Making a Difference

Women and families across the country are being supported and nurtured by RizeUp Australia. As a strong network of women that empower one another every day both in and out of the club, it’s our honour to do our part.

“Thank you so much! It was so amazing how they did every corner of the house. I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was like a designer had been into my home. I was not expecting any like it, especially all of the details.

I had no words on the day and I felt like I was dreaming. I was so overwhelmed, and I am so grateful for this opportunity. Thank you to the team who worked so hard to make my house a home.”
