No-bake raw cacoa bites

Whip up these super food bites at the start of the week for a healthy chocolate treat – no-bake raw cacoa bites.

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 2 almonds
  • 2 walnuts
  • ½ dates
  • ½ tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp (13g) protein powder
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ⅓ pinch of salt
  • ½ olive oil spray

Method

  1. Pitt and finally chop dates.
  2. Soak dates in hot water until soft – reserve the liquid.
  3. Fiely chop the alonds and walnuts.
  4. Place the ingredients into a small bowl and mix until well combined. If the mixture is too dry add the reserved date water a little at a time until the mixture sticks together.
  5. Roll into a ball or a square/bar. Serve and enjoy. Alternatively store in an air tight container in the refrigerator to enjoy later.

Tip: Increase the ingredient quantities to make a batch for the week!
