Whip up these super food bites at the start of the week for a healthy chocolate treat – no-bake raw cacoa bites.
Serves: 1
Ingredients
- 2 almonds
- 2 walnuts
- ½ dates
- ½ tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tbsp (13g) protein powder
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ⅓ pinch of salt
- ½ olive oil spray
Method
- Pitt and finally chop dates.
- Soak dates in hot water until soft – reserve the liquid.
- Fiely chop the alonds and walnuts.
- Place the ingredients into a small bowl and mix until well combined. If the mixture is too dry add the reserved date water a little at a time until the mixture sticks together.
- Roll into a ball or a square/bar. Serve and enjoy. Alternatively store in an air tight container in the refrigerator to enjoy later.
Tip: Increase the ingredient quantities to make a batch for the week!
