Best strength training exercises for beginners

Our fitness experts have put together this 35-minute express strength workout for beginners to get you started on the right track. If you’re looking to increase and build muscle mass, complement your workouts with a tailored diet so you can succeed. Beginner strength training

Warm-up
Cat/cow
Childs pose rocks
Glute bridges

Circuit 1
Kettlebell goblet squats – 30 seconds
Kettlebell deadlift – 30 seconds
Rest – 60 seconds
Repeat for 3 total sets

Circuit 2
Dumbbell alternating lunges – 30 seconds
Dumbbell bent over rows – 30 seconds
Rest – 60 seconds
Repeat for 3 total sets

Circuit 3
Dumbbell floor chest press – 30 seconds
Plank – 30 seconds
Rest – 60 seconds
Repeat for 3 total sets
