Avocado-chocolate mousse

This acai berry bowl is a refreshing, nutrient-packed breakfast or snack, loaded with antioxidants and topped with your favourite fruits and granola for the perfect crunch!

Ingredients

  • ½ medium avocado
  • ½ medium or 1 small banana
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (+ more if desired)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp milk (or milk alternative) + more as required

Method Steps

  1. Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender to make a mousse.
  2. Add a tsp of milk at a time to get your desired mousse consistency.
  3. Enjoy as is or with an accompaniment of berries or sliced banana.
