Ingredients
- 50g almonds
- 50g walnuts
- 150g dates
- 5 tbsp cacao powder
- 130g protein powder
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- 10 ml olive oil
Method
- Pit and finally chop dates.
- Soak dates in hot water until soft – reserve the liquid.
- Finely chop the almonds and walnuts.
- Place the ingredients into a small bowl and mix until well combined. If the mixture is too dry add the reserved date water a little at a time until the mixture sticks together.
- Roll into a ball or a square/bar. Serve and enjoy. Alternatively store in an airtight container in the refrigerator to enjoy later.
