Morning Sickness:
- Eat small frequent meals and snacks
- Eat a small snack before getting out of bed
- Avoid fried, fatty and spicy foods
- Avoid pungent food smells
- Try to prepare food when you are feeling well
- Sip ginger-ale
Heartburn:
- Avoid trigger foods
- Avoid fried fatty and spicy foods
- Eat small frequent meals, rather than large meals
- Avoid drinking with meals
- Stay upright as much as possible
- Stop eating several hours before going to bed
- Avoid caffeine
Constipation:
- Increase the fibre in your diet by eating more wholegrain breads and cereals, fresh fruit and vegetables.
- Drink more water
- Exercise daily
