What is Food Coaching?

Food Coaching is designed to achieve and maintain great results with a combination of nutrition coaching and physical activity.

Combining exercise with balanced eating, Food Coaching is about seeing real results, improving your fitness, feeling rewarded and energised while enjoying the flavours of everyday ingredients which won't leave you hungry.

Food Coaching is a long-term eating plan, designed under the direction of our scientific advisory council and a dietician who believes food should be delicious as well as nutritious. The program shows participants how to enjoy five delicious meals each day, kick starting the metabolism and prevent hunger, while achieving weight loss.

Experience the difference of Food Coaching with weekly 1-on-1 sessions with your own Food Coach who'll motivate and educate you on weight loss within the convenience of a supportive health club environment.

Fernwood is a member of the Weight Management Council of Australia

Fernwood became a member of the Weight Management Council of Australia (WMCA) in 2008, and Fernwood’s National Programs Manager Tracey Robson-Garth has been appointed to the Council as representative of Fernwood.

Tracey says the aims of the WMCA are to ensure the ongoing integrity of weight loss programs in Australia and to ensure consumers are receiving quality assured programs and products.

"Weight loss programs that have been approved by the WMCA such as Fernwood's Food Coaching Program help to protect consumers from 'quick fix', options. Consumers of WMCA products can be assured that they have been through a stringent training and approval process."

The program teaches women valuable skills to effectively take control of their own healthy eating plan through a supportive and thorough education program conducted by consultants who have undertaken training approved by the WMCA.
