Financial crisis helping us to eat healthier

A recent survey* of 1,500 people has found that Australians are cooking at home more and eating out less, showing that the global recession might actually be having a positive effect on Australians' physical health.
The survey found 40 per cent of people were eating takeaway and 33 per cent were eating out less frequently than three months ago. Eighty per cent ate out twice a month or less.
